Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Jones Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bones Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones Jr's entrance music is Unstoppable - Roy Jones Jr.. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bones Aldo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Roy Jones Jr has been cut.
Aldo connects with a body shot that sends Jones Jr's belly button to the back.
Aldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch combination from Aldo misses.
Jones Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Aldo.
Aldo misses with the combination.
Jones Jr clinches up against the cage.
Jones Jr drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones Jr thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jones Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aldo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones Jr has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aldo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jones Jr has tightened it up now! Aldo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Roy Jones Jr opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
