Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rylan Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Rylan Hunter enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wyatt Earp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rylan Hunter! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Earp manages to avoid it. Hunter looking to score a takedown here. Earp is defending well but Hunter drives through and ends up in Earp's guard. Earp looking for a guillotine here but Hunter defends easily.
Earp has his foot on Hunter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunter works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Earp not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hunter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Earp is trying to control the position but Hunter postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Earp tries to strike from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rylan Hunter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Earp misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Earp is looking to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Earp. Earp throws a half hearted mid kick. Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hunter moves into the clinch. Hunter manages to pull guard.
Earp passes Hunter's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hunter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Earp. Earp is trying to work for a kimura but Hunter is defending well.
Earp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hunter is not content to let Earp control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Earp. Earp is looking for a kimura here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunter can do anything to dispel that myth. Hunter looking for submissions off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Earp seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hunter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Earp pulls his head out easily. Hunter wants to improve his position but Earp is controlling well.
Earp is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hunter defends it well. Earp is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hunter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Earp. Hunter wants to improve his position but Earp is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Earp sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hunter defending well though. Hunter looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Earp missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Earp is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hunter is refusing to be controlled, as Earp sits in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Earp wants to work for an arm triangle but Hunter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wyatt Earp dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown. Earp tries to sprawl out of it but Hunter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Earp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hunter fails with a takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hunter. Hunter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Earp, who protects the arm well. Earp sneaks back into half guard. Earp could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Earp kicks Hunter off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Earp shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Earp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Earp misses with a takedown attempt and Hunter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Earp won't be happy with that. Hunter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Earp is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Earp tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hunter tries for a kimura but Earp is defending well. Earp throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Hunter in side control, just content to control the action for now. Hunter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Earp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Earp gets back to half guard. Earp makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter shoots in and bounces Earp off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Earp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunter's guard. Hunter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Earp.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Earp missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Earp drops back looking for a leg! Hunter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hunter manages to kick Earp off! Earp jumps back into Hunter's guard. Earp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Earp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Earp wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Hunter managing to control the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Earp's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Earp throws a big elbow that misses. Earp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hunter pulls Earp in to control the position. Hunter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Earp is controlling him. Earp drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hunter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hunter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hunter! Earp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hunter has just dragged him back down to the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunter working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Rylan Hunter will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Earp shoots in looking for a takedown but Hunter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Earp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hunter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Earp's waist but Earp gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hunter off to one side. Hunter fails with the takedown. Earp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hunter counters with a head kick. Earp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to avoid it but Earp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunter to the ground. Hunter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wyatt Earp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hunter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Earp's guard. Hunter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hunter trying to control but Earp is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Earp controls Hunter momentarily but Hunter frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Earp has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunter has managed to get both his arms back between Earp's legs - danger averted. Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Earp swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hunter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Earp trying to strike off his back.
Hunter tries to free his leg and advance position but Earp is retaining full guard. Earp throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Earp is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunter throwing strikes from guard but Earp blocks nicely. Hunter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Earp keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Earp working for a triangle but Hunter defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Earp throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Earp keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Earp is keeping the position for now. Earp is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Earp manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Earp thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunter taking shots to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter is trying to escape the mount.
Earp misses with some ground and pound and Hunter recovers position to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wyatt Earp. I think Earp has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
