Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Korto Grepplund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Confrontation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grepplund lands with a hook. Henderson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Grepplund wants to slow Henderson down by chopping away at his legs.

Grepplund moves into range and connects with a jab.
Henderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grepplund ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henderson moves away.
A bone on bone clash there as Henderson blocks the leg kick.

Henderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grepplund.

and Henderson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Grepplund fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Henderson manages to avoid it.
Grepplund ducks under a wild hook from Henderson.
Henderson throws a big shot that misses.
Grepplund lands a glancing blow to the side of Henderson's head.
Henderson clobbers Grepplund with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Korto Grepplund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Grepplund blocks a jab.

Grepplund takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Henderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grepplund stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grepplund looks to land a right hand but Henderson moved out of range.

Henderson throws a head kick that misses.
Grepplund is looking to chop away at Henderson's legs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grepplund. Henderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Henderson misses with an uppercut.
Grepplund comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Grepplund lands a nice leg kick that just misses Henderson's sensitive parts.
Henderson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Danga de danga de dang - Henderson scores with a four punch combination!
Henderson moves out of range of the leg kick from Grepplund.
Grepplund shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henderson but Henderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Henderson misses the jab.
Grepplund attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Henderson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grepplund closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Henderson catches Grepplund with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Grepplund misses with a hook. Henderson ducked under it nicely.
Henderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Grepplund takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Grepplund is rocked!
It looks like Korto Grepplund has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henderson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Grepplund.
Henderson throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Grepplund crashing down! Grepplund tries to stagger back to his feet but Henderson just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Grepplund asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Henderson!
During a confident post fight interview, Matt Henderson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
