PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smoke Bud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darel Darel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bud has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Darel Darel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darel moves into the clinch.
Darel is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bud pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Darel manages to break the clinch.

Darel fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bud to the ground. Darel is now in Bud's guard.
Bud is breathing heavily.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Darel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Darel Darel was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Darel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Darel stands and throws Bud's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Darel is trying to get an arm triangle but Bud is defending well.

Darel has an Americana. Bud didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Darel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Darel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
