Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Tombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Duke has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luke Duke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Tombo! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tombo's head. Duke misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Tombo misses. Duke takes the fight into the clinch. Duke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tombo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tombo throws a right hand that Duke ducks under and follows up with a left that Duke also avoids with ease. Duke fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Duke is looking to clinch. Tombo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duke circles away quickly and effectively. Duke decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Duke decides to stand up. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Duke - that will leave a mark!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tombo swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke moves in looking to clinch but Tombo pushes him off. A right-left combo lands from Tombo.
It looks like Luke Duke has been cut. Duke staying out of range there. Duke tries to clinch up but Tombo circles away and keeps his distance. Tombo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Duke drives through and clinches with Tombo against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Duke - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Duke pushes off an throws an elbow but Tombo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Duke lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Duke looking to throw knees to the head but Tombo is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke gets control of Tombo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Duke will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tombo is looking to stand up but Duke won't let him. Duke throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Duke pushes Tombo off and scrambles back to his feet.
Duke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tombo doesn't manage to clinch there - Duke circles away.
Tombo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duke paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tombo fails to land with a series of punches.
Tombo throws a lazy head kick and Duke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Duke is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Tombo misses with a double jab
and Duke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brian Tombo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duke tries to close the distance and clinch but Tombo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tombo is looking to land body kicks. Tombo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tombo duly obliges.
Duke is rocked! Tombo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Oh Duke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Duke is breathing heavily. Tombo pounces like a tiger and cracks Duke with a vicious hook! Duke is down but not out! Tombo follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Brian Tombo! An out of breath Brian Tombo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
