PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Decimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kangas Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Decimus comes to the cage accompanied by All Shall Perish- Eradication. Khan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Try and Catch Me. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Decimus lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khan backs up against the cage.
Khan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Decimus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Khan darts in trying to clinch
and Decimus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Decimus tries to bum rush Khan with a series of wild strikes but Khan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Khan throws a right and a left that Decimus avoids nicely.

Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Decimus manages to avoid it.
Khan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Decimus ducks under a wild hook from Khan.
Decimus tries for a takedown but Khan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Decimus moves into range and clinches up with Khan.
Decimus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Decimus lands with a right to the head.
Decimus misses with a hook to the ribs.
Khan is trying to push Decimus away but Decimus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Khan stalls.
Khan is trying to maintain a safe position but Decimus gets an underhook and turns Khan into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Khan is rocked!
Khan leaves his chin hanging out and Decimus seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Khan crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
