4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Bauer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bauer connects with a nice looking jab.
Roxton closes the distance and pushes Bauer back into the cage. Roxton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bauer backwards.
It looks like Chuck Bauer has been cut. Roxton has Bauer pressed against the cage.

Chuck Bauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bauer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bauer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Roxton rushes Bauer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Roxton for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Roxton throws a punch but it's blocked by Bauer. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Roxton here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Bauer blocking some punches.

Roxton lands a right hand. Bauer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Roxton creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Roxton misses with a hook to the ribs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roxton displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bauer up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mitch Roxton will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Chuck Bauer's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bauer moves into range and connects with a jab. Bauer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roxton throws out the jab. Roxton moves in looking to clinch but Bauer pushes him off. Chuck Bauer seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fighters circle momentarily. Roxton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bauer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Roxton has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bauer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Sloppy strikes from Bauer. Those never looked like landing. Chuck Bauer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bauer throws a series of punches but Roxton moves out of range. Roxton fails in his attempt to clinch. Bauer swats away the attempt to clinch by Roxton. Roxton misses with a right hand and Bauer counters with a crisp one two that drops Roxton! Bauer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Roxton to his feet! Roxton is in big trouble!
Roxton is rocked! Bauer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Roxton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Roxton looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bauer lands a right hand from hell, dropping Roxton. Bauer pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Bauer! Chuck Bauer is the new light heavyweight champion! After the fight, Chuck Bauer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
