Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Copeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gareth Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Copeland comes to the cage accompanied by Metalingus by Alter Bridge. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Copeland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gareth Edwards! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards takes a body punch but keeps moving. Edwards shoots in and drives through. Copeland sprawls well. Copeland looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Edwards feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Edwards thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Edwards drops back looking for a leg! Copeland is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Copeland manages to kick Edwards off! Edwards jumps back into Copeland's guard. Copeland manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Edwards manages to get himself to full guard.
Edwards is looking for a triangle but Copeland pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Edwards is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edwards prevents Copeland from improving his position. Copeland avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Edwards. Edwards with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Edwards is trying to control the action in half guard but Copeland is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Edwards prevents Copeland from standing back up.
Edwards is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Edwards takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edwards looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Edwards moves into full mount! Copeland won't be happy about that! Copeland is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Edwards dominating with strikes here. Copeland really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Edwards lands a big elbow. Copeland wants to control but Edwards is having none of it. Edwards is working for a guillotine from mount but Copeland frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Edwards is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Copeland can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Copeland is bucking up trying to escape but Edwards cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Edwards takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Edwards working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Edwards jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Copeland manages to avoid the submission attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Edwards has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Copeland drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Edwards working for a triangle but Copeland defends it easily.
Copeland has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Edwards is proving hard to escape from. Edwards looking for a sweep. Not yet Edwards, not yet. Copeland would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Edwards is looking for a triangle but Copeland pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Edwards looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Edwards trying to keep a closed guard but Copeland is proving a slippery customer.
Edwards utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Copeland postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Edwards is looking to sinch up a triangle. Copeland throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Edwards's body to avoid the submission. Edwards has instead reached around Copeland's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Edwards arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
