Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamiya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Machiko.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kamiya darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Kamiya closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Machiko quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kamiya seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
