Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Quirke! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quirke cracks Coleman with a good jab. Coleman moves away from the strike by Quirke. Quirke misses with a looping left. Coleman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quirke looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Coleman throws an elbow but Quirke slips to the side and avoids it well. Coleman moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Quirke is not content to let Coleman control the position. Coleman working the ground and pound but Quirke is defending the strikes. Quirke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coleman misses with an attempted head punch from side control. That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coleman lands a few punches from side control. Coleman is looking to take a break and control but Quirke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The strikes coming from Coleman are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Coleman taking a breather here. Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quirke keeps working. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Quirke is not in a great position here, taking some shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coleman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coleman thows a huge punch but Quirke dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Quirke! Coleman sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Quirke and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
