Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Pendragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chodor Eriemilyanenko! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eriemilyanenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Eriemilyanenko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pendragon prevents Eriemilyanenko from improving his position. Eriemilyanenko trying to control but Pendragon postures up.
Pendragon not landing any meaningful shots this time. Eriemilyanenko won't allow Pendragon to pass to mount. Eriemilyanenko is trying to maintain the position but Pendragon is very close to passing his half guard. Eriemilyanenko looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pendragon wants to take a breather but Eriemilyanenko is having none of it. Pendragon slows the pace down in half guard. Pendragon trying to control from half guard but Eriemilyanenko is working away. Eriemilyanenko holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Pendragon wasn't doing enough on the ground. Pendragon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mike Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eriemilyanenko wants to clinch up but Pendragon keeps it at a distance. Pendragon looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Eriemilyanenko is trying to control the position but Pendragon postures up. Pendragon forces his way into half guard. Pendragon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Eriemilyanenko's head. Eriemilyanenko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Eriemilyanenko. Pendragon wants to control from the top but Eriemilyanenko keeps moving. Pendragon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pendragon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Eriemilyanenko has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pendragon is looking to defend but Eriemilyanenko has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pendragon! Eriemilyanenko pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pendragon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chodor Eriemilyanenko! A pretty intense looking Chodor Eriemilyanenko took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
