Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Deniro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deniro has chosen The rage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Steve Deniro told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Lombard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deniro misses with a hook. Lombard ducked under it nicely.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lombard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steve Deniro seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Deniro feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lombard sprawling to the canvas! Lombard rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Deniro finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lombard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Deniro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Deniro lands a big uppercut and Lombard crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lombard looks OK. Deniro waves Lombard back to his feet!
Oh Lombard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hector Lombard's cut is getting worse.

Deniro lands an uppercut, right on the button! Lombard tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
