Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raven Roxas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Roxas shoots in but Liddel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Liddel thuds a left hand into Roxas's body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Liddel enables Roxas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Liddel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Roxas trying to control but Liddel is working from the bottom.
Roxas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Roxas stands up over Liddel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Roxas postures up in Liddel's guard and throws a big left but Liddel blocks it.
Liddel wants to sweep here but Roxas controlling him for the moment.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddel can do anything to dispel that myth.
Roxas scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Liddel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Roxas lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Roxas stands up over Liddel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

It looks like Chuck Liddel has been cut.
Roxas is in close to Liddel's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Liddel trying to strike off his back.
Liddel is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roxas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roxas landing some decent shots from guard.
Liddel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roxas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Roxas is working Liddel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Liddel is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roxas loads up on a big left hand. Liddel felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Roxas looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Liddel can't hide his disappointment, as Roxas celebrates the victory.
