Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colin Buchanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buchanan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pepper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buchanan's half guard.

Buchanan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pepper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buchanan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Buchanan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pepper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buchanan has managed to get both his arms back between Pepper's legs - danger averted.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Buchanan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Buchanan lands a big elbow - Pepper is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Buchanan!
