Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuba Guram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alaskan Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guram misses with a wild combination.
Guram moves into the clinch successfully.
Guram escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Guram closes the distance and clinches.
Guram will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Assassin up against the cage.
Assassin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

and Assassin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Assassin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Guram manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Assassin has Guram in his guard.
Guram stands and steps away. Assassin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kuba Guram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Guram fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Assassin, pushing him back against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guram, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
