The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to bum rush Paris with a series of wild strikes but Paris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.

Paris clinches.

Smith has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Paris is trying to keep an underhook but Smith manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Paris keeps working.
Smith throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Paris is refusing to be controlled, as Smith sits in half guard.
Paris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!
I would not like to be Smith right now.

Paris has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Smith is defending well but eventually Paris manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Smith has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
