Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres's entrance music is Three Lions. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying McQuail's choice of entrance music: Glasgow Kiss. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker McQuail! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres has his takedown stuffed and McQuail makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. McQuail misses with a wild body shot. McQuail shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Torres napping and manages to drive through into side control! McQuail is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Torres has escaped the position, nice work there. McQuail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torres keeps working. McQuail lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. McQuail is trying to get an arm triangle but Torres is defending well. Torres is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQuail just content to control the position. McQuail working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
McQuail is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. McQuail working the ground and pound but Torres is defending the strikes. The strikes coming from McQuail are missing the target in this wave of attacks. McQuail tries for a kimura but Torres is defending well. McQuail working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQuail throws a strike aimed at the side of Torres's head but Torres avoids it well. McQuail in side control, just content to control the action for now. McQuail is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Torres has escaped the position, nice work there. Torres prevents McQuail from improving position. This has been an exciting period of action! McQuail in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McQuail postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
McQuail gets to mount! Torres was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. McQuail with good strikes from the mount here! Torres keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
McQuail is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Torres is surviving well by controlling McQuail's body position as best he can. Torres regains half guard. Torres is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McQuail pulls his head out easily. Torres might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail scoring with strikes to the body and head. McQuail trying to control from half guard but Torres is working away. McQuail passes the guard and advances to mount! Torres is squirming around, avoiding McQuail's attempts to control the action. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McQuail controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQuail goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Torres is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Parker McQuail dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Torres has his takedown stuffed and McQuail makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Torres doesn't succeed with the takedown and McQuail counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Torres with a poor takedown and McQuail counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him. McQuail ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McQuail throws a leg kick but Torres sees it coming and moves out of range. Ricardo Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Torres misses with a takedown and McQuail counters with an inside leg kick. McQuail throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres. Torres takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McQuail dives in and scores a takedown into Torres's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McQuail's corner is telling him to maintain position. McQuail looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQuail trying to move into half guard but instead Torres has managed to sweep! McQuail wants to sweep here but Torres controlling him for the moment. McQuail wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. McQuail keeping moving, preventing Torres from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McQuail just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres has his takedown stuffed and McQuail counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Torres has his takedown stuffed and McQuail counters with a series of strikes that sends Torres to the canvas! McQuail follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Torres is rocked! McQuail has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Torres preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McQuail is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. McQuail drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McQuail jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McQuail postures up in Torres's guard and throws a big left but Torres blocks it. McQuail pushes down on Torres's leg and manages to get into half guard. McQuail is keen to just control but Torres is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McQuail is looking for a kimura but Torres is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McQuail to get the leverage. McQuail looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McQuail working over Torres with some ground and pound. Torres looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. McQuail wants to work for an arm triangle but Torres is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Torres gets back to full guard.
McQuail wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. McQuail throwing strikes but missing. McQuail trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McQuail accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Parker McQuail showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Torres with a lazy takedown attempt and McQuail counters with a right hand to the body. Torres with a poor takedown and McQuail counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Torres! McQuail landing strikes from the mount and Torres is in trouble! McQuail with the ground and pound from mount. McQuail scoring with strikes but Torres is staying in there. Oh Torres is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Torres defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from McQuail. McQuail tries to control but Torres wriggling away. McQuail is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Torres goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for McQuail!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Parker McQuail! In his post fight interview, Parker McQuail started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
