The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James moves into the clinch successfully.
Toosh on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
James is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Toosh is defending well for now.
Toosh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
James displaying some good clinch control by pressing Toosh up against the cage.
Toosh managing to block the knees to the body from James.
Toosh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. James smiles and moves away.
James is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Toosh shoots in but James avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Steven James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aloe Toosh.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Toosh closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. James quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
James is breathing heavily.
