Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pendragon comes to the cage accompanied by f i g h t. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, George Pendragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Hunt! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendragon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunt, pushing him back against the cage. Hunt breaks from the clinch.
Pendragon forces Hunt back against the cage and clinches. Hunt is trying to break the clinch but Pendragon is controlling him. Hunt is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pendragon is defending well for now. Pendragon stops a takedown attempt from Hunt.

Hunt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
George Pendragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Hunt. Pendragon has hold of one of Hunt's legs. Hunt is fighting the takedown attempt but Pendragon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Pendragon is stalling in the full guard. Pendragon with a nice head shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunt striking off his back but it's not causing Pendragon any problems. Pendragon postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Pendragon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pendragon lands a couple of elbows. Hunt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Hunt was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hunt fails with the takedown. Hunt moves to clinch but Pendragon breaks away and Pendragon counters by clinching up. Hunt wants a takedown.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Pendragon. Pendragon has hold of one of Hunt's legs. Hunt is fighting the takedown attempt but Pendragon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Pendragon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pendragon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pendragon throwing strikes from guard but Hunt blocks nicely. Pendragon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hunt's head. Pendragon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pendragon connects with a couple of short punches. Pendragon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pendragon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pendragon postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it. Pendragon throwing strikes but missing. Pendragon is working Hunt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pendragon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now. Pendragon cracks Hunt with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pendragon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pendragon with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunt working a defensive guard here.
Pendragon wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. Hunt is trying to control the position but Pendragon postures up.

Hunt is trying to pull guard but Pendragon has him pressed against the cage. Hunt wants to take the fight to the mat but Pendragon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt goes for a takedown attempt but Pendragon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hunt doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pendragon counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Pendragon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hunt letting Pendragon take a breather here. Pendragon avoiding damage as Hunt throws knees to the body.
Pendragon has Hunt pushed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Pendragon dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hunt looks to clinch and Pendragon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pendragon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pendragon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hunt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hunt trying to control but Pendragon postures up.
Pendragon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hunt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pendragon is working away from the top position though. Hunt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hunt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pendragon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pendragon working over Hunt with some ground and pound. Hunt looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendragon winds up and cracks Hunt with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Pendragon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Pendragon looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Pendragon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pendragon lands with a punch from half guard. Pendragon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hunt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pendragon. Pendragon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hunt wants to control but Pendragon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nice strikes from Pendragon there. Hunt blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pendragon. Pendragon seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pendragon slips a nice elbow through Hunt's hands, connecting with Hunt's forehead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hunt wants to get back to his feet.

He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hunt is hurt! He's hurt bad - Pendragon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hunt from any more punishment! Congratulations to Pendragon! Great finish!
