Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Bellator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bellator might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A Lesson Never Learned. John Wayne is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Bellator! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wayne! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellator misses with a shot to the body and Wayne counters with a two punch combo. Bellator scores with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Wayne slips a jab from Bellator. Bellator misses the shot to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Bellator darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bellator scores with a body shot.
Bellator misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wayne.
Bellator looks to score with a jab to the body but Wayne is just out of range. Bellator thows a body shot but no joy. Bellator misses with a hook. Wayne ducked under it nicely. Bellator takes a swing at Wayne's ribcage but misses. Bellator is looking to wear down Wayne with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellator paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A big left from Bellator misses. Wayne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bellator circles away quickly and effectively. Bellator closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bellator lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bellator. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bellator thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bellator throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bellator works his way into full mount! Bellator is in the full mount, landing strikes.
It looks like John Wayne has been cut. Bellator has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bellator loads up with a big shot that hurts Wayne! He's pulled Bellator in close but Bellator has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Wayne survive? More strikes from Bellator and Wayne is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
