Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alha Dhin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Boma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boma has chosen Shocking Lemon - Under Star as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alha Dhin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Boma! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boma missing with a left hand there. Dhin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Excellent takedown into side control there by Boma. Dhin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Dhin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dhin can't keep his opponent in guard - Boma advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Boma is working for a submission of some sort.
Boma seems to be working for a kimura but Dhin defends the submission attempt. Dhin actively working from the bottom here. Dhin is looking to improve his position.

Dhin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dhin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dhin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boma is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dhin. Dhin regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dhin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boma pulls his head out easily. Dhin regains full guard. Nicely done. Boma postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dhin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Boma passes Dhin's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dhin is defending against the submission attempts here by Boma.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boma trying to control but Dhin is working from the bottom. Boma avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dhin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dhin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Boma stacks Dhin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boma! Dhin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dhin is not content to let Boma control the position. Boma lands a nice forearm strike. Dhin is looking to reverse the position. Dhin is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Dhin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boma off and has taken his back! This has been an exciting period of action! Boma trying to control the hands but Dhin won't let him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boma holding both Dhin 's hands and preventing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alha Dhin will probably get the nod. That's time! Dhin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dhin.
Boma tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dhin throws a sloppy head kick and Boma moves out of range easily. Alha Dhin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dhin throws a nice inside leg kick. Dhin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Boma fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dhin on the side of the head. Boma lands a jab. Boma throws a nice looking combination but Dhin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dhin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boma.
Boma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dhin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dhin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Dhin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dhin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boma got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dhin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boma has managed to get both his arms back between Dhin's legs - danger averted. Boma wants to control from the top but Dhin keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dhin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Boma escapes and throws Dhin's legs to the side, diving into side control! Dhin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Boma working Dhin over with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dhin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boma thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dhin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dhin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boma defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boma lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Boma distracts Dhin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dhin has his foot on Boma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boma works his way back into a safe position though. Dhin keeping moving, preventing Boma from controlling successfully. Dhin keeping full guard, as Boma tries to pass. Dhin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boma defends well. Boma wants to control from the top but Dhin keeps moving. Boma looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boma wants to control from the top but Dhin keeps moving.
Jason Boma has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Boma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dhin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Boma doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dhin counters with a nice kick to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boma is defended easily by Dhin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alha Dhin will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Boma blocks the body kick.
No joy there for Boma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A slow jab from Boma misses its intended target. Boma takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dhin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Boma manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boma takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Boma waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dhin. Dhin avoids the body shot from Boma.
Dhin thows a body kick. Boma tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dhin misses with a leg kick. Boma tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Boma misses with a wild body shot. Dhin throws a body punch but Boma moves out of range. Dhin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dhin throws a wild body kick that Boma sees coming a mile off. Dhin closes the distance and clinches up with Boma, looking for a takedown. Dhin pushes Boma against the cage but Boma circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boma lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A jab from Boma finds it's way through Dhin's defenses. Boma checks the leg kick. Dhin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Alha Dhin is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boma gets a takedown into half guard. Boma wants to control but Dhin is keeping him busy. Alha Dhin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dhin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boma is working away from the top position though. Dhin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Dhin trying to control from the bottom.
Alha Dhin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dhin manages to get to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dhin has Boma pulled in close to control his posture. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Boma throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boma passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boma scoring with punches and elbows. Dhin tries to buck Boma off but Boma is having none of it. Dhin parries the strikes from Boma easily there. Boma is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dhin to escape.
Dhin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Dhin trying to hold on to Boma's head to control him but Boma postures up.
Boma wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dhin keeps working. Dhin wants to control but Boma is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dhin wants to get back to full guard. Dhin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Boma. Jason Boma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boma seems to be working for a kimura but Dhin defends the submission attempt. Boma sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dhin defending well though. Boma trying to mount his opponent but Dhin defends it. Dhin wants to control but Boma is keeping busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dhin keeping hold of Boma's head, controlling as best he can. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dhin wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jason Boma. Well Dhin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
