Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Doet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blixt Boxlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blixt Boxlund will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxlund throws a head kick that half lands.
Boxlund takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boxlund is looking to slow Doet down with leg kicks.
Doet misses with a left hand
and Boxlund counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boxlund scores with the left hand. Doet knows he should have avoided that one.
Doet throws an overhand right that lands on Boxlund's shoulder, as Boxlund tries to avoid the shot.
Boxlund looks to land a left hand but Doet moved out of range nicely.

Doet is looking for a triangle but Boxlund pushes his legs off easily.

Doet is working an open guard so Boxlund takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Boxlund connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boxlund lands with a nice body punch.
Boxlund takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boxlund misses with a hook. Doet ducked under it nicely.

Doet takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Doet shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boxlund as he jumps to the side.
Boxlund lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Doet takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Boxlund scores with the left hand. Doet knows he should have avoided that one.
Doet misses with the body kick
and Boxlund counters with a low kick, right behind Doet 's knee.
Doet fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Doet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boxlund. Doet does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Boxlund counters with a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blixt Boxlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doet throws a nice outside leg kick.

Doet misses with a takedown attempt - Boxlund sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Blixt Boxlund showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Boxlund tries to close the distance and clinch but Doet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Doet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boxlund.

and Boxlund counters with a crisp one two that drops Doet! Boxlund thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Doet to his feet! Doet is in big trouble!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boxlund.
Boxlund throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boxlund throws a jab when Doet was well out of range.
Doet displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boxlund throws out the jab.
Doet drops his hands momentarily and Boxlund takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oh Doet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Boxlund counters with a crisp right hand that drops Doet! Boxlund lets Doet back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Boxlund cracks a nice hook into Doet's ribs.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Boxlund connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Doet! He's out on his feet! Boxlund rushes in and drops Doet with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
