Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Mad Cow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Mad Cow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Ivey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Mad Cow! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mad Cow. Mad Cow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ivey defends it nicely. Mad Cow chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ivey can pounce on him.
Mad Cow is looking to clinch but Ivey is avoiding it.
Ivey throws a lazy uppercut
and Ivey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ivey misses with a body kick. Mad Cow misses with a double jab.
Mad Cow shoots in but no luck this time. Mike Ivey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Mad Cow. Ivey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ivey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ivey misses with an uppercut
and Mad Cow counters with a straight right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A low kick from Ivey is predictable there and Mad Cow counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mad Cow tries to move into range but Ivey moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Ivey throws a body kick, spinning off balance so Mad Cow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mad Cow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ivey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mad Cow! Mad Cow tries to hold on but Ivey pushes him away. Mad Cow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ivey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ivey trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ivey looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivey looking to control but Mad Cow is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ivey controlling from mount. Ivey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mad Cow is looking to escape. Ivey wants to control but Mad Cow has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivey wants to take a breather but Mad Cow is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mike Ivey just wasn't active enough. Ivey lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mad Cow will feel that in the morning. Ivey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ivey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mad Cow. Ivey scores with a body shot.
Ivey throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ivey is looking to chop away at Mad Cow's legs. Ivey misses with a looping right. Ivey connects with a looping right hand.
A slow jab from Ivey misses its intended target. Ivey throws a leg kick and Mad Cow counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mad Cow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mad Cow with a flurry of punches that miss. Mad Cow loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mad Cow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ivey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ivey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jeff Mad Cow will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ivey connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Ivey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mad Cow counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ivey! Mad Cow with the ground and pound from mount.
Ivey is rocked! Mad Cow softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Ivey is out cold! Mad Cow jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Mad Cow!
