The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plum lands a with a good body shot.
Ransom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Samson Ransom has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Plum. No joy for Ransom on that attempt.

Plum tries to close the distance and clinch but Ransom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ransom ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ransom no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Ransom had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Plum is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ransom Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Plum's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Plum is trying to get back to his feet but Ransom has full control of the position and if anything, Plum has just worked his way into a worse spot.
