Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamarcus Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss tries to clinch
and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Moss doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a body kick that stops Moss in his tracks momentarily.
Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Moss sprawling to the canvas! Moss rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!
It looks like Billy Moss has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
BOOM! Johnson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Moss. Moss tries to recover but Johnson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Moss lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamarcus Johnson!
