Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth-Trust. The crowd seem to be enjoying Materla's choice of entrance music: Do Gory Leb. Alex Ramirez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez clinches up with Materla and pushes him back against the cage.

Materla got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramirez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Materla has managed to get both his arms back between Ramirez's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramirez wants to work for an arm triangle but Materla is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ramirez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Materla with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ramirez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Materla wants to improve his position but Ramirez is controlling well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ramirez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Materla does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ramirez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
