The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a takedown attempt - Burnett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burnett throws a shot to the body.
Robert Burnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King tries for a takedown but Burnett sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Burnett jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Burnett darts in and clinches King up against the cage.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Burnett.
Burnett can't find room to land a body shot as King controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from King fails to land.
Burnett lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
King gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burnett is staying active underneath King, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
King is working for a kimura but Burnett is defending it quite comfortably.
Burnett is trying to control but King manages to pass to mount!

King throws some wild stikes that Burnett manages to avoid easily.
King pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
