Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwao Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Forbes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Forbes's choice of entrance music: My Old Kentucky Home. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forbes catches Saito with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Saito shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Forbes as he jumps to the side.
Forbes throws a shot from downtown. Saito moves away and avoids it.
Saito shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Forbes pinned against the cage. Forbes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Forbes throws a hook to the side of Saito's head but Saito sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saito uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Forbes.
Forbes connects with a nice looking jab.
Forbes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iwao Saito. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Saito shoots in but no luck this time.
Forbes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Saito.
Forbes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Saito on the side of the head.
Forbes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Forbes lands a jab to the head.
A jab from Forbes does it's job there.
Forbes scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Forbes stuffs the takedown attempt from Saito. Saito gets slowly back to his feet.

Saito tries to move into range but Forbes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Saito.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Forbes avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Saito.
Saito throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Saito has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Forbes is looking for a sweep.
Saito looks up at the clock and then as Forbes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Saito smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

It looks like Bernard Forbes has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Forbes is not content to let Saito control the position.

Saito misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ground and pound from Saito seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Saito cracks Forbes with a big elbow.
Forbes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saito. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Forbes is not content to let Saito control the position.

Saito is working Forbes over with some ground and pound from side control.
Forbes tries to bench press Saito off him but Saito keeps the position.

Saito throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Saito scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Forbes to see if he's OK.

That has opened up Bernard Forbes's cut even more.
Saito throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Forbes works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Saito thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Forbes's head.

Saito wants to control the pace but Forbes is squirming around nicely.

Saito lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Forbes! Saito sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Forbes and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
