Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thiago Satillo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nosmo King! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satillo clobbers King with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Satillo throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it. King has a takedown stuffed. King takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Satillo throws a low kick but King avoids it. Satillo lands with a cross. King scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. King misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Satillo is trying to improve his position. Satillo is not content to let King control the position. King working the strikes but Satillo uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Satillo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. King prevents Satillo from improving his position. King seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. King scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Satillo defending well though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King throwing shots but Satillo is blocking nicely. King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. King thows a huge punch but Satillo dodges it nicely.
King drops an elbow to the side of Satillo's head. Satillo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but King pulls his head out easily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Satillo taking some punishment here, with King in his half guard. King landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Satillo is rocked! King is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Satillo is hurt! He's hurt bad - King fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Satillo from any more punishment! Congratulations to King! Great finish!
