Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Slayed. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chad Brown enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Woods!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Brown!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woods shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Woods loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Brown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Woods is controlling him.
Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.
Woods sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.

Woods thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brown's head.
Brown won't allow Woods to pass to mount.
Brown keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Woods thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
Woods has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Woods seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Woods cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Woods wants to finish this one by submission but Brown is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Woods.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee warns Brown that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Woods dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Woods shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Woods shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.
James Woods overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Brown rolls with it to try and escape but Woods cranks on the arm and Brown is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
