Heaney connects with a jab.
Heaney dives in and scores a takedown into McDermot's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heaney stands and throws McDermot's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heaney cracks McDermot with an elbow. That is naaassty.
McDermot takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
It looks like Jimmy McDermot has been cut.

Heaney cracks McDermot with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Heaney immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! McDermot is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Heaney!
