Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whitey Marsh ! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
Marsh misses with a hook to the ribs.
Marsh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Marsh managing to block the knees to the body from Lee.
Marsh struggles to land a body shot inside as Lee controls his hands.
Marsh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Lee connects with a knee to the head.

Lee tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Marsh avoids it. Marsh on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lee is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Marsh is defending well for now. Lee scores a nice knee to the body.
Marsh gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Marsh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Marsh working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lee. Lee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Marsh trying to strike off his back.
Lee lands a couple of decent looking shots. Marsh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marsh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lee won't allow Marsh to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Marsh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marsh on the ground. Lee stands up and waves to Marsh to follow him. Marsh fails in his attempt to clinch. Lee tries to clinch but Marsh moves out of range. Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marsh keeps the fight on the outside. Marsh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Marsh pushes him off. Nice sprawl there from Lee as Marsh shoots in. Rock Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marsh circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marsh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee working the strikes but Marsh uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Lee is breathing heavily. Marsh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lee. Marsh wants to get back to his feet. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Marsh 's temple. Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marsh 's head. Lee winds up and cracks Marsh with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lee not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lee prevents Marsh from standing back up.
Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Marsh wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Marsh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marsh . Lee landing with the ground and pound. Lee won't allow Marsh to get back to his feet. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Marsh looking for a triangle here. Lee is fighting it but it looks tight! Marsh pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Lee is tapping out - this one is all over!
