Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Moguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Stephen Thai was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Moguera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stephen Thai! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thai doesn't manage to clinch there - Moguera circles away.
Moguera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thai pinned against the cage. Thai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Moguera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Moguera prevents Thai from standing back up.
Thai is defending against the submission attempts here by Moguera.

That's one minute gone in the round. Thai is not content to let Moguera control the position. Moguera trying to pass the guard but Thai defending well. Moguera trying to control from half guard but Thai is working away. Moguera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thai is just riding it out for now. Moguera eventually gives up the hold.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Thai tries to clinch but Moguera moves out of range.

Moguera is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moguera looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Thai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Moguera throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Moguera wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Thai is now in half guard. Moguera wants to improve his position but Thai is controlling well.
Thai tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moguera is looking to get back to full guard here but Thai has managed to pass to side control instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Moguera dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Thai closes the distance looking to clinch and Moguera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Thai! Moguera with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Moguera wants to control the pace but Thai is squirming around nicely. Thai stops Moguera from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Moguera won't let Thai get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Moguera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Moguera stalling away here and it's allowed Thai to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Moguera wants to control from the top but Thai keeps moving. Thai wants to stand up but Moguera is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Thai darts in trying to clinch and Moguera counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Moguera tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thai is looking to escape. Moguera throws a strike but Thai avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Thai is looking to stand up but Moguera isn't so interested in that idea. Moguera drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moguera has Thai in his guard. Thai stands and steps away. Moguera gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lucas Moguera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thai tries to clinch but Moguera moves away and Moguera counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moguera. Moguera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moguera trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Moguera trying to move into half guard but instead Thai has managed to sweep! Moguera is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Moguera is looking for a triangle but Thai pushes his legs off easily.
Stephen Thai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moguera, up you get! Moguera shoots in but Thai avoids the takedown attempt easily. Thai tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Moguera cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Moguera fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Thai tries to clinch and Moguera counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thai misses with an elbow from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Lucas Moguera showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moguera, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
