Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A punch lands to the side of Spartan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Spartan looking to score a takedown here. Cerrone is defending well but Spartan drives through and ends up in Cerrone's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cerrone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spartan defends well.
Spartan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cerrone is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Spartan rolls with it to try and escape but Cerrone cranks on the arm and Spartan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
