Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Simler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paradorn Skiripan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paradorn Skiripan!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skiripan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Simler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Simler scores with a three punch combo!
Simler swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Skiripan.

It looks like Paradorn Skiripan has been cut.
Simler just misses with a punch to the body.
Simler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Simler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skiripan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Simler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Skiripan throws a right hand that Simler ducks under and follows up with a left that Simler also avoids with ease.

Paradorn Skiripan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Skiripan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
