Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chersen Lebeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simmons Zak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons Zak is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chersen Lebeng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Simmons Zak! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zak has Lebeng up against the cage in a clinch.
Zak scores a nice knee to the body.
Come on Zak - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lebeng wants to stall.
Zak pulls Lebeng into guard.
Lebeng wanted to stand there but Zak had control of the position. Lebeng postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lebeng preventing the sweep. Lebeng with a flurry of punches that miss. Lebeng wants to pass the guard but Zak is keeping the position. Zak is looking to sweep but instead, Lebeng has passed into half guard.
Zak is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lebeng not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Zak is in trouble now - Lebeng has advanced to mount! Zak defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lebeng. Lebeng throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zak because Lebeng loaded up on that one. Lebeng jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zak manages to avoid the submission attempt. Lebeng sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Zak is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Zak tries to bench press Lebeng off him but Lebeng keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zak is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Zak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebeng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. You can see the frustration on Zak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lebeng is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Zak tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Lebeng wants to finish this one by submission but Zak is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lebeng. Lebeng has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zak is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lebeng looking for a guillotine from mount but Zak is having none of it. Zak working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zak has given up his back here.
Lebeng lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lebeng has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Zak is in real trouble here. Lebeng gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Zak is tapping out! Lebeng wins by rear naked choke!
