Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistar Undereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Undereem could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Undereem tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Undereem prevents the takedown attempt.
Yates wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yates is trying to stall.
Yates is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Undereem pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Yates has a couple of punches blocked by Undereem.
Undereem lands with a left to the head.
Yates scores with a shot to the side of Undereem's head.

Undereem pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Undereem pulls Yates in to control the position.
Yates trying to control but Undereem is working from the bottom.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yates stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Undereem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yates is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Damon Yates was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nice sprawl there from Undereem as Yates shoots in.
Alistar Undereem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Yates.

Undereem has managed to clinch.

Undereem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yates swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Undereem.
Yates looks to throw the jab but Undereem is out of range.
Yates looks gassed!

Undereem clinches up against the cage.
Undereem is pushing Yates up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Yates is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Yates tries to break the clinch but Undereem is controlling the position.

Undereem pulls Yates into guard.
Undereem lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yates!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Undereem with a couple of short strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Undereem looking to finish Yates with some ground and pound. This is bad for Yates!
Undereem with shots to the head and body - Yates looks very uncomfortable down there.

Yates is rocked!
Undereem postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Yates badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Undereem around the waist but Undereem pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Undereem is the winner by TKO! Undereem jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
