Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jassikka takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Iceman misses with a two punch combination.
Jassikka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Iceman as he jumps to the side.
Iceman closes the distance and clinches.
Jassikka takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Jouko Jassikka has been cut.
Iceman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jassikka uses from the top position.
Iceman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Iceman holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Iceman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jassikka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Iceman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Iceman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jassikka off and has taken his back!

Jassikka wants to control his opponent's hands but Iceman gets his hands free.

and Iceman moves into the clinch.

Iceman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Iceman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jassikka is just riding it out for now. Iceman eventually gives up the hold.
Iceman wants to free his trapped foot but Jassikka is holding on for dear life with his legs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Iceman is trying to control the action in half guard but Jassikka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jassikka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Iceman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jassikka's guard now.
Jassikka is looking to sinch up a triangle. Iceman throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jassikka's body to avoid the submission. Jassikka has instead reached around Iceman's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jassikka arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
