Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Hynan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Shane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Hynan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Allan Shane! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shane shoots in looking for a takedown but Hynan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shane. Hynan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Allan Shane has been cut. Shane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hynan counters with a flying knee. Nice. Simon Hynan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan Shane. Shane looking to score a takedown here. Hynan is defending well but Shane drives through and ends up in Hynan's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Shane drops back looking for a leg! Hynan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hynan manages to kick Shane off! Shane jumps back into Hynan's guard. Hynan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shane on the ground. Hynan is trying to control the position but Shane postures up. This has been an exciting period of action! Hynan wants to sweep here but Shane controlling him for the moment. Shane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hynan can't keep his opponent in guard - Shane advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hynan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Shane slips nicely into half guard. Shane is working for a kimura but Hynan is defending it quite comfortably.
Shane wants to work for an arm triangle but Hynan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shane is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shane looks gassed! Hynan is trying to maintain the position but Shane is very close to passing his half guard. Hynan gets back to full guard.
Hynan controls Shane momentarily but Shane frees himself. Shane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hynan punching from the bottom - just letting Shane know he's still in a fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hynan controls Shane momentarily but Shane frees himself. Shane pushing down on Hynan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Shane moves nicely into side control. Shane is trying to get an arm triangle but Hynan is defending well. Shane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Shane tries for a kimura but Hynan is defending well. Hynan is looking to regain half guard here but Shane keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shane prevents Hynan from escaping the position. Hynan tries to improve position but can't. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shane is trying to get an arm triangle but Hynan is defending well. Hynan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hynan, who protects the arm well. Hynan is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Shane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Allan Shane's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hynan slaps away a takedown attempt from Shane, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hynan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hynan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hynan tries to sprawl but Shane drives through with a takedown into half guard. Shane is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Shane is trying to work for a kimura but Hynan is defending well.
Hynan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Allan Shane has got the better of the ground game so far. Shane is breathing heavily. Hynan tries to kick Shane off but Shane keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hynan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hynan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hynan wants to sweep but no luck. Shane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Shane advances position into side control! Shane goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hynan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Shane but great work by Hynan. Shane is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hynan off and has taken his back! Shane looking to break Hynan's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hynan remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Shane will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hynan defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Shane gets his hands free as Hynan looks to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hynan breaks Shane's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Shane is looking for a triangle but Hynan pushes his legs off easily.
Shane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hynan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hynan looking to pass the guard. Hynan wants to stand but Shane has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hynan is posturing up here but Shane has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hynan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hynan has to tap! Slick submission there by Shane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Allan Shane! Our winner, Allan Shane, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
