Paru comes into the arena with Tropa de Elite, osso duro de roer blaring out of the sound system. Jose Paru could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ati Kon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paru closes the distance and clinches.
Kon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Paru fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Paru bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kon manages to get back to half guard.
Paru looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Well, if Paru is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kon is trying to maintain the position but Paru is very close to passing his half guard.
Kon gets full guard.

Paru wants to control from the top but Kon keeps moving.
Paru won't allow Kon to sweep him here.

Paru thows a huge punch but Kon dodges it nicely.

Paru uses his free foot to push down on Kon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kon.

Paru postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kon bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Paru and the fight is over!
