Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Koerner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Ludo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunter Koerner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Derek Ludo! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ludo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koerner as he avoids it easily. Koerner closes the distance and clinches. Ludo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Koerner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ludo moves in looking to clinch but Koerner pushes him off. Koerner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Koerner shoots in for a takedown but Ludo shows good takedown defense. Ludo tries to clinch there but Koerner circles away.
Koerner moves into the clinch. Ludo trying to stall but Koerner improves his position.
Ludo successfully pulls guard.
Koerner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ludo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Koerner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ludo keeping moving, preventing Koerner from controlling successfully. Koerner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ludo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koerner manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ludo trying to control the position but Koerner is working away. Koerner throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Ludo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ludo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ludo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ludo takes a little break here. Koerner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Ludo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ludo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Koerner is looking to reverse the position. Koerner is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ludo slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Koerner. Koerner sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ludo is trying to work for a kimura but Koerner is defending well.

Koerner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ludo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ludo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Koerner's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ludo seems to be looking for submissions.
Ludo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ludo with a poor takedown and Koerner counters with a single leg into guard. Ludo didn't expect that. Gunter Koerner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Ludo. Koerner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ludo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ludo is on top in guard.

Koerner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ludo passes Koerner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Koerner tries to roll over but Ludo keeps him under control. Ludo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ludo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Koerner has one foot on Ludo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Koerner looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Koerner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. This has been an exciting period of action! Ludo tries to roll over but Koerner keeps him under control. Ludo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ludo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ludo misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Ludo gets full guard. Koerner tries to free his leg and advance position but Ludo is retaining full guard. Koerner trying to control the position from guard on top but Ludo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koerner scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Koerner chips away with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gunter Koerner dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Koerner clinches. Koerner tries to score a body lock takedown but Ludo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Koerner can't get the takedown.
Ludo pulls guard. Ludo is trying to keep Koerner in close.
Koerner throws a strike but Ludo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ludo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ludo wanted to stand there but Koerner had control of the position. Ludo wants to control from the top but Koerner keeps moving. Koerner has a closed guard, preventing Ludo from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Koerner wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ludo passes Koerner's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ludo prevents Koerner from improving his position. Koerner missing with punches from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ludo tries to keep at a distance but Koerner has taken the fight into the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Koerner throws an elbow but misses. Koerner has Ludo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ludo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunter Koerner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koerner can't get the takedown.
Koerner turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Koerner manages to end up in side control. Koerner trying to control the position but Ludo is working away. Koerner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ludo wants to control but Koerner postures up. Ludo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Koerner is controlling him well.

Ludo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Koerner is proving hard to escape from. Koerner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ludo manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ludo working for a triangle but Koerner defends it easily.

Ludo is trying to maintain the position but Koerner is very close to passing his half guard. Koerner trying to mount his opponent but Ludo defends it. Koerner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ludo tries to roll over but Koerner keeps him under control. Ludo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ludo wants to control but Koerner is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Koerner is looking for a kimura here.
Koerner looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ludo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Koerner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Koerner's back! Koerner tries to break free.
Ludo is cranking Koerner's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Koerner! He's tightened the choke and Koerner is tapping out!
