Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Hovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seppo Hovi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Murray!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hovi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hovi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Murray drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hovi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Murray passes Hovi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Murray has gone for a leg lock! Hovi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Murray's guard.

Murray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hovi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hovi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hovi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Murray with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hovi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Seppo Hovi.
I think Murray has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
