Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheldon Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ran Caleb! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caleb fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cooper misses with a combination
and Caleb counters with a left and a right that stings Cooper. Caleb throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Caleb just misses with a punch to the body.
Caleb takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sloppy strikes from Caleb. Those never looked like landing. Cooper tries to bum rush Caleb with a series of wild strikes but Caleb uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No luck with that takedown attempt from Cooper. Caleb lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Caleb scores with a three punch combo!
That's one minute gone in the round. Caleb tries to clinch there but Cooper circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cooper. Cooper closes the distance and clinches. Cooper keeps control of Caleb as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cooper wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sheldon Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Caleb lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cooper backs up against the cage.
Cooper is rocked! Caleb gets a big slam - oh, Cooper is out! Cooper is out! That's a nasty KO!
