Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Koutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Koutz struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Koutz misses
and Jonas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jonas scores with a hook to the body. Koutz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jonas moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jonas for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Jonas lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jonas thuds his right hand into Koutz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Koutz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jonas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Koutz defends it well.

Jonas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Koutz sees it coming and defends easily.
Jonas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koutz can do to turn this around?

Jon Jonas really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Kobra Clothing Inc. logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
