Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm by Darude. Chuck White will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Masakazu Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck White! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Aoki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by White. White obviously looking to wear him down.
White moves out of range of the leg kick from Aoki. White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Aoki throws a hook but White blocks it. Aoki thows a body shot but no joy. White shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. White seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. White wants to take a breather but Aoki is having none of it. Aoki trying to control here.
Aoki looking for submissions off his back. Aoki is trying to get back to full guard. White is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. White is just content to waste time from the top position. Aoki takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aoki controls White momentarily but White frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aoki is on top in guard.
Aoki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Aoki won't allow White to sweep him here. White pulls Aoki in to control the position. White keeping moving, preventing Aoki from controlling successfully. Aoki tries to stand but White is controlling from the bottom. White is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. White's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We're going to have a standup here because Masakazu Aoki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. White throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aoki was covering up waiting for the punch and White finishes the takedown easily into guard. Aoki looking to control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White scoring with punches to the head and body. White wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving. White looking to pass the guard. Aoki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Aoki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. White trying to control but Aoki is working from the bottom. Aoki looking to control.
White wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aoki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Aoki keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. White stops Aoki from standing up. White keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aoki's head. Aoki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. White doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. White manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Aoki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. White wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving. White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aoki keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aoki is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chuck White was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nice sprawl there from Aoki as White shoots in. White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Aoki is staying active underneath White, who seems content to just control the action from this position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aoki wants to get back to full guard but White has passed into side control. Aoki is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control. Aoki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck White dominated that round. That's time! Aoki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Aoki wants to slow White down by chopping away at his legs. Aoki lands with a shot to the body. Aoki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. White attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Aoki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. White raining down hammerfists from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White lands with some strikes. White controlling from mount. Aoki is trying desperately to improve position. White wants to control the pace but Aoki is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. White with a couple of short strikes. White looking for a guillotine from mount but Aoki is having none of it. Aoki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Aoki wants to hold on but White pushes him away. Aoki is in all sorts of trouble here.
Aoki regains half guard. Aoki tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aoki is refusing to be controlled, as White sits in half guard. White keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Aoki wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it. White throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Aoki to regain full guard. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. White tries to free his leg and advance position but Aoki is retaining full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aoki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chuck White has got the better of the ground game so far. Aoki working a defensive guard here.
White stands up over Aoki, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Aoki looking for a sweep. Not yet Aoki, not yet. White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aoki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aoki is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Aoki lands a couple of decent looking shots. White pulls Aoki in close to prevent any damage. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Aoki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Aoki keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head. White is trying to control the position but Aoki postures up. Aoki trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Aoki stays in close to White's body and controls the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck for White with that takedown attempt. Aoki listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Aoki circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops White to the canvas! White doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Aoki keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
