The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alpha pinned against the cage. Alpha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alpha dives in and scores a takedown into Buckley's guard.

Buckley's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alpha connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Buckley scrambles back to his feet.
Project Alpha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Project Alpha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Buckley.
Alpha fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buckley manages to avoid it.
