Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rex Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mickey McGillicutty!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tyler with a poor takedown
and McGillicutty counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McGillicutty moves in looking to clinch but Tyler pushes him off.
McGillicutty is looking to score with low kicks.

Tyler closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McGillicutty quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tyler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tyler works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyler goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now McGillicutty is on top in guard.
McGillicutty sitting in guard, not really doing much.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGillicutty preventing the sweep.

Tyler is looking for a triangle but McGillicutty pushes his legs off easily.
McGillicutty looking to pass the guard.

Tyler is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McGillicutty defends well.
Tyler has a closed guard, preventing McGillicutty from standing up.
McGillicutty wants to pass the guard but Tyler is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGillicutty trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tyler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGillicutty is aware though and is defending well.
McGillicutty trying to control but Tyler is working from the bottom.

Tyler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGillicutty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGillicutty wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.

Tyler has his feet on McGillicutty's thighs here. He's pushed McGillicutty off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! McGillicutty screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rex Tyler!
Rex Tyler really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Wolfpack Threadz logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
