Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mister Birchum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Charmicheal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mister Birchum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James Charmicheal! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charmicheal motions for Birchum to come forward. Charmicheal throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Charmicheal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Charmicheal gets a clinch. Charmicheal will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Birchum up against the cage. Charmicheal lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Mister Birchum has been cut. Charmicheal lands with a left to the head. Birchum is looking to control Charmicheal's arms but Charmicheal gets an underhook and turns him. Now Birchum has his back to the cage. Birchum goes for a takedown attempt but Charmicheal pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Charmicheal ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A big right from Birchum misses. Charmicheal drives through and clinches with Birchum against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Birchum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Charmicheal pulls him back up using the underhooks. Birchum looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Charmicheal misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Birchum.
Charmicheal lands a nice elbow. A nice glancing elbow lands by Charmicheal. Charmicheal lands a damaging elbow. A quick uppercut on the inside from Charmicheal. Charmicheal lands a nice elbow. Charmicheal lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Charmicheal lands an elbow inside that Birchum shrugs off. Birchum managing to block the knees to the body from Charmicheal.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Charmicheal. Charmicheal softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Charmicheal drops Birchum onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Birchum is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Birchum is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clinched against the cage, Charmicheal lands a big elbow that drops Birchum! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Birchum is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Charmicheal! In his post fight interview, James Charmicheal gave a big smile as he said 'I would like to thank my fans for their support and ofcourse my coaches, training partners and manager for believing in me now and for the future to come! I AM SEXY AND I KNOW IT!
