He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jahom Le Emaont has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd scores with a hook to the body. Emaont takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Joel Ladd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emaont looks gassed!
Emaont closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ladd drops Emaont with a beautiful combination! Emaont stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ladd is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jahom Le Emaont has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ladd throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ladd punishes Emaont's body with a nice straight punch.
Ladd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Emaont stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
and Ladd counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Emaont! He's just covering up as Ladd starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joel Ladd!
Joel Ladd spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
