Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dynas Mitias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Lyndon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dynas Mitias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Theodore Lyndon! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitias scores a takedown into full mount! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mitias looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mitias is landing with some decent strikes but Lyndon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Lyndon is working to get back to half guard.
Mitias landing strikes, looking to finish! Mitias looking to control but Lyndon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lyndon wants to control but Mitias is having none of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mitias tries to control but Lyndon wriggling away. Lyndon is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitias with shots to the head and body - Lyndon looks very uncomfortable down there. Mitias looking to ground and pound but Lyndon is blocking nicely. Lyndon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mitias raining down hammerfists from mount. Mitias tries to control but Lyndon wriggling away. Mitias putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Mitias working away from the top, dropping strikes. BOOM! Mitias connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mitias pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Mitias tries to control but Lyndon wriggling away. Lyndon tries to improve his position but instead Mitias has taken his back! Mitias trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Mitias wants to get up but he can't break Lyndon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mitias is breathing heavily. Mitias trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lyndon trying to control the position.
Mitias trying to control but Lyndon is working from the bottom. Mitias postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Theodore Lyndon was stalling too much, according to the referee. Mitias fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lyndon avoids it really well and circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lyndon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mitias. Lyndon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mitias's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dynas Mitias dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lyndon tries to free his leg and advance position but Mitias is retaining full guard. Mitias bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lyndon's guard. Mitias postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lyndon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lyndon pushes Mitias off and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lyndon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mitias, who protects the arm well. Lyndon stands up and beckons Mitias to his feet. Dynas Mitias is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mitias drives through with a takedown into guard. Lyndon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mitias's guard. Lyndon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lyndon trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitias looking to control.
Lyndon wants to control from the top but Mitias keeps moving. Lyndon controls from within his opponent's guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lyndon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lyndon working the ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lyndon lands a nice forearm strike. Lyndon working the ground and pound from side control. Lyndon controls the position from side control. Mitias takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lyndon is trying to get an arm triangle but Mitias is defending well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lyndon controls the position from side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lyndon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mitias knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theodore Lyndon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lyndon wants to control from the top but Mitias keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lyndon tries to free his leg and advance position but Mitias is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitias keeping moving, preventing Lyndon from controlling successfully. Lyndon won't allow Mitias to sweep him here. Lyndon passes into half guard. Lyndon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lyndon stands up and beckons Mitias to join him on the feet. Lyndon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitias shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lyndon pinned against the cage. Lyndon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lyndon moves out of range of the body kick. Mitias stuffs the takedown attempt from Lyndon. Lyndon gets slowly back to his feet. Lyndon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mitias drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mitias wants to control from the top but Lyndon keeps moving. Lyndon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mitias doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lyndon is tightening it up a little... Mitias has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mitias reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mitias taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lyndon!
